Traders threaten shutdown on CM’s arrival in Bandipora

Bandipora: Traders to boycott CM meet for Ignoring district in the developmental front: Call for shutdown on Sunday.
Bandipora: Traders Federation Bandipora has decided to boycott ​​public meet with Chief Minister scheduled to be held on Sunday at mini- secretariat in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
In a statement, the traders’ federation accused the district administration and Municipal Committee Bandipora of ignoring the town and accused them of turning a blind eye towards the miseries of the​ ​dwellers and businessman of the main market.
​The statement added that​ ​the administration has failed to meet the demands of local populace while as the officials of Municipal Committee Bandipora​ ​have failed on every front in carrying the beautification of Bandipora town and providing public utilities to the town dwellers despite the fact that MC Bandipora​ ​collects huge revenue.
The Federation has asked all the shopkeepers to shut down their business on Sunday as a mark of protest against the ‘inefficiency of district administration’.
