Pakherpora gunfight: Civilian injured in clashes

Srinagar: A civilian was injured after government forces fired live ammunition to disperse the protesters near the gunfight site at Futlipora village in Pakerpora area of Budgam district on Thursday, local sources said.
Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted near the encounter site soon after the gunfight stared.
Sources said that a youth was hit with bullet fired by the forces. The injured was shifted to the nearby hospital.
The injured youth identified as Sameer Bashir was later referred to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment, sources said.
Sameer according to sources is a resident of Pakherpira and is only 15 years old.
Earlier a gunfight between militants and government forces broke out in the central Kashmir village.
