Malik released from jail, JKLF pays tributes to Naveed Anjum

SRINAGAR: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik was released on bail on Tuesday, a party spokesperson said. He was arrested on Monday morning and lodged at central jail Srinagar.
Meanwhile, in a statement, the spokesperson paid rich tributes to NaveedAnjum of Sopore on his anniversary. “ShaheedNaveedAnjum was martyred on 27 November 1994 in KotBhalwal jail by Indian forces,” he said.
Recalling the struggle and sacrifices of Naveed, the spokesperson termed him a “brave and selfless person who strived for the righteous cause and sacrificed his life for the sacred goal”.
