Private school & Children welfare body organises national meet in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Private Schools and children welfare Association Saturday organised 2nd National council meet at Srinagar
The meet discussed present and future strategy of education sector in Kashmir.
In the event National president of private education Syed Shameal Ahmad , joint Sectary of private association Education M.Y Wani, Secretary OF Private education M.Cowell and state president of Jammu and Kashmir private association G.N War were present .
In the high profile event, 130 delegations from different parts of country were present.
The intension behind this meet is to know the challenges and explore opportunities for making education sector better particularly in Kashmir.
Speaking at the event, Syed Shameal Ahmad asked the government to give private schools a chance to provide better education in Jammu and Kashmir.
When asked about the interviews for admissions conducted by private schools for kids of 2 to 3 year old age group, Shemeal said, “There are some schools which do this practice. No private school will do this practice now,”
Regarding the Govt order asking private schools to submit fee details, he said, “It’s not easy task to submit fee detail within one week its takes time.”
