Police arrest accused in Handwara girl murder case

Handwara: Jammu and Kashmir police have solved a “blind” murder case in “just two hours” on Sunday.

Reports said that a girl, name withheld, was murdered in Handwara town in Kupwara district in northern Kashmir on Sunday.

Reports said that the body of 18 year old girl was found early morning on Sunday at her native Gushi village.

They added that police “in a swift action” arrested the accused who they said kidnapped the girl to force her into marriage.

Police solved the murder mystery of the teenage girl within two hours.

The accused Mohammad Altaf Malik, s/o Dilawar Malik has been arrested.
