New Delhi: Delhi HC Tuesday refused to pass order on PIL seeking action against National Conference President and MP Farooq Abdullah over his alleged remarks on Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK).
HC asked petitioner, seeking action against Abdullah, to move the Centre on the matter; the court asked Centre to look into it.
HC said “it is not expressing any opinion on the plea against Abdullah and Centre should take an independent view”.
Pertinently, Farooq’s remarks about PaK had created controversy and a PIL was submitted in Delhi HC seeking action against him. PTI
