‘They have no value’
Kupwara: Police recovered a cache of US Dollars from a book store in Kupwara town of north Kashmir on Friday. Sources in police put the figure at one hundred thousand.
The store, police said, is owned by Abdul Rashid and is situated near Bag Taxi Stand in the town.
SSP Kupwara Shamsher Hussain dismissed the case as unimportant. “Yes we recovered some foreign currency from a person, but these are very old notes and have no value today. These are not fake notes, nor signal, these are very old notes and have no value now,” the SSP said.
