Srinagar: Authorities on Thursday did not allow media persons to cover the Seminar of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) held at the residence of its chairman Syed Ali Geelani where the octogenarian leader is undergoing house detention since 2010.
“We were stopped by the men in uniform at the main gate of Geelani’s residence and not allowed to enter,” said a reporter affiliated with a Srinagar based daily.
TeH is organizing a seminar on Alama Iqbal’s birthday.
Addressing the seminar TeH Secretary General, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai detailed the contribution of Iqbal. Sehrai strongly criticized those raising questions on Pakistan.
“Two Nation Theory is a Himalayan fact and everybody must accept it,” sources in the seminar quoting Sehrai said.
