SRINAGAR: Career Counseling and Placement Cell (CCPC), Sher-i-Kashmir university of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Kashmir (SKUAST-K) organised a day-long workshop on “Entrepreneurship in livestock sector” for veterinary graduates here on Monday, an official press note read.
The workshop was held at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (FVSc&AH), Shuhama in collaboration with J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) – District Unit Ganderbal. The programme comprised of lectures on entrepreneurship opportunities in livestock sector by Dean FVSc& AH, Professor Sarfaraz A. Wani, Dean Students Welfare Prof M. A. A. Sidiqui, and Dr M. R. Fazili, Head Veterinary Clinical Complex followed by hands-on training on different facets of entrepreneurship by team of experts from JKEDI led by District Nodal Officer Imtiyaz Ahad Malla.
The participant feedback received at the end of the workshop rated the workshop as good to excellent and participants expressed their desire to have similar workshops in future, the press note added.
