Gangrape case: Rs 10,000 reward for info on accused at large

Bhopal: The Government Railway Police today announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for information on an accused, who is on the run, in connection with the alleged gangrape of a 19-year-old student here.
The GRP has arrested three men — Golu Bihari, Amar alias Ghuntu, and Raju alias Rajesh Chetram — for allegedly abducting and raping the woman near the Habibganj railway station when she was returning from her coaching classes on October 31.
They are looking for another accused Raju alias Ramesh who is at large.
“We have announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for information on the absconding accused. We have also alerted the police in neighbouring Hoshangabad,” Superintendent of Police, Bhopal Railway Division, Ruchi Vardhan Mishra told PTI.
She said teams of GRP personnel have been fanned out to trace the absconding accused on the basis of tip-offs.
Mishra took charge as the SP today, a day after the state government transferred SP (Rail) Anita Malviya and Inspector General (Bhopal Range) Yogesh Choudhary in connection with the case.
