Vow to make Pahalgam green and clean

SRINAGAR: A Delegation of J&K Hoteliers Club Pahalgam Chapter (JKHCPC) along with stake holders of Pahalgam called on the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday at Srinagar, an official press note read.
According to the press note, the delegation briefed the chief minister about the activities of hoteliers club in Pahalgam where it vowed to make Pahalgam green and clean by planting 20,000 trees and providing dust bins to the local community.
In addition, to promote Pahalgam as a destination in upcoming travel marts, the club apprised the chief minister to make and release a short film on destination Pahalgam, which would be dedicated to the government for promotional purposes, the press note read.
The chief minister was pleased to recognise the efforts of the club in its endeavour to make Pahalgam green and clean and assured government’s full support, the note added.
