Three women among four injured in bear attack in Sopore outskirts

Baramulla: Three women and a man were injured in a bear attack at Tujjar Sheriff village in the outskirts of Sopore area of Baramulla district on Thursday.
A bear attacked three women and a man when they were grazing their cattle in the nearby forests at Tujjer Sherif area of Sopore, sources said.
The four were rushed to Sub District Hospital Sopore in injured state.
Doctors at Sub District Hospital Sopore identified the injured as Posha Begum wife of Mohammad Ramzan Lone, Sakeena Begum wife of Nayeem Ahmed Lone, Zahida Begum wife of Mohammad Yousuf Lone and Mushtaq Ahmed Malik son of Ghulam Mohammad, all residents of Tujjer Sherif.
They added that Zahida Begum has been referred to SMHS Srinagar for advance treatment.
