Train service suspended on Srinagar-Banihal section

Pulwama: Train services between Srinagar and Banihal section was suspended on Monday, sources said.
Railway authorities suspended train services between Srinagar and Banihal section “as a precautionary measure” after two minor cousins were crushed to death last evening at Puchal area of Pulwama, district.
Northern Railway Chief Area Manager Kashmir division, Hari Mohan confirmed Kashmir Reader that the section was closed “as a precautionary measure”.
Two minors were crushed under the train which was on its way from Srinagar to Banihal at Puchal village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday evening.
They were identified as Muntazir Ahmad (10) son of Nasir Ahmad Shah and Faizan Ahmad (9) son of Raj Mohammad Shah, both residents of Puchal.
