NIA arrests Salahudin’s son in New Delhi

New Delhi: Shahid Yousuf, son of Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin, who was summoned by the NIA in a case related to money laundering was formally arrested by the agency in New Delhi, reports said on Tuesday.

Shahid was summoned by the probe agency to Delhi in connection with the investigation in the alleged funding case where he was arrested.

Shahid works in the horticulture department of the Jammu and Kashmir government. His father, Salahudin heads the militant organisations amalgam, United Jihad Council (UJC). Salahudin also is the chief of militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahidin.
