BHADERWAH: The RSS took out its traditional ‘path-sanchalan’ full-dress route march in Jammu’s Bhaderwah town of Doda district on Saturday. The rally started at Geeta Bhawan and covered the entire town, going through the main market, Ganpath Bazar, Seri Bazar, Mandir Bazar, Bus Stand, Jai Road, Vaskdhera Mohalla and Khakhal Mohalla, before concluding back at Geeta Bhawan.
According to a press statement issued here, the ‘sanchalan’ was welcomed with “Pushp Varsha” or showering of flowers at various places by residents of Bhaderwah. Speaking on the occasion, RSS Sah-Prant Pracharak Rupesh Kumar said that the RSS has always been at the forefront in the fight for the “national” cause and its aim of establishing Bharat as Vishwa Guru (world leader) is not a distant dream now. Terming Article 35A as unconstitutional, Kumar said it is a violation of the basic character of the Constitution, which provides equality to all citizens of India.
Stressing on strengthening shakhas (RSS branches), he said that the swayamsevaks have more responsibility on their shoulders in the current situation as India is facing more challenges today than it did in the past.
Prominent organisational persons present at the rally included Vibhag Sangchalak Ashok Kotwal, Zila Sangchalak Keshav Ram Kotwal and others.
