Visually impaired student from JK in US rocket centre

Jammu: A 19-year-old visually impaired student from J&K has reached US space and rocket centre despite his blindness.
With his determination, Shubham Tandon, has not only pursued his studies, but also proved that nothing is impossible.
At present he is doing his graduation from MAM College of Jammu.
He won the ‘Light House Vision Scholarship’ which took him to US Space and Rocket Centre for a week-long camp, representing India.
He is the first visually impaired student of J&K to get this chance. He is one among 30 scholarship winners worldwide, who were selected for this space camp at Huntsville ( Alabama ) USA.
Tandon said he wants to do something new in computer and software for the benefits of society for physically challenged people.
