Srinagar: Students of Kashmir University Wednesday for the second consecutive day hold protests against National Investigation Agency (NIA) for summoning its scholar Aala Fazli to New Delhi.
The protesting students threatened to “lockdown” the university if the “questioning” of Aala by NIA does not stop immediately.
Aala was summoned to Delhi on Monday and he is being “questioned” by the Indian Investigation Agency in connection with an alleged funding case registered on May 30 this year.
The protesting students of various departments raised slogans against NIA and India. They also shouted pro-azadi slogans while marching through the campus.
