Tral traders stage protest against NIA, civilian killings

Pulwama: Traders Union Tral, in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district Monday staged protest demonstration against the summoning of KTM chief Yaseen Khan by NIA and killing of two civilians in grenade blast on Thursday.
The protesters also demanded judicial inquiry into recent grenade attack in the town.
Two civilians including a young female MED Student of IUST Rattandeep Kour @ Pinky Kour daughter of Ichpal Singh resident of Chattrogam and a 80 years old Ghulam Nabi Trag son of Ghulam Ahmad Trag resident of Tral-e-Payeen were killed after a grenade attack on the cavalcade of PDP leader and R&B minister Naeem Akhtar on Thursday. At least 30 persons including some forces personnel were also injured in the incident.
Trade Union President Ishfaq Ahmad Kar while talking to Kashmir Reader demanded judicial inquiry into the grenade blast. He also demanded inquiry into another grenade blast in the town which killed five civilian. The blast happened in December 2014.
