Two soldiers injured as India, Pakistan exchange fire in Poonch

Jammu: Two soldiers were Sunday injured as India and Pakistan engaged in cross border firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote sector of Poonch district.
Quoting army sources PTI reported that Pakistani troops opened fire at forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Troops guarding the border retaliated and the exchange of fire between the two sides lasted for nearly 30 minutes.
A defence spokesman told PTI that Pakistani troops opened fire and shelled forward posts along the LoC in Bhimber Gali area of Balakote sector around 0300 hours, resulting in splinter injuries to two soldiers.
