JRL calls shutdown against Rajnath’s Srinagar visit on Sunday

Srinagar: The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik on Thursday called for a complete shutdown on September 10 against the proposed visit of Home Minister Rajnath Singh to Srinagar.
The leaders in a statement urged people upon people of Kashmir to observe complete shutdown on the upcoming visit of Indian Home Minister on Sunday.
“By observing the strike, people of Kashmir will prove to the world community and the Indian leadership that by using military might against the people or harassing their genuine leadership, the freedom struggle of Kashmir cannot be crushed,” leaders said in the statement.
