Students protest in Shopian, Tral against killings of Rohingya Muslims

Srinagar: Students held protests in south Kashmir’s Tral and Shopian towns Wednesday against the killing of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar by the state military and the Buddhist majority.
Hundreds of students of Degree college Tral, Boys Higher Secondary School and MTI boycotted classes and held protests against the Myanmar government. There were reports of clashes in Tral as well between protesters and forces.
Protest was also held in Shopian town by the students of Government Higher Sec. School.
