Srinagar: United Jehad Council (UJC) has greeted the Muslim Ummah and pro-freedom people on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha and appealed the people to celebrate the day with austerity.
In a statement to KNS, UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain said that UJC chief Syed Sallah-u-din greeted Muslim Ummah and pro-freedom of the state.
“UJC chief has congratulated on the occasion the pro-freedom people, relatives of slain militants, prisoners, injured, widows and others who have been braving the repression,” the spokesman said.
“Our Eid will be on the day when we get freedom from the occupation of India and decide our fate by own will,” he said, adding that the chief has appealed the people to help needy and those people affected during the conflict.
“The enemies and their henchmen are busy to change the course of freedom and sabotage it by arguing about 1953 position and trade. Such people should remember that our struggle will continue till the occupying forces are evicted from the borders of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, adding, that “people should remain cautious of such persons.”
