Skylight School takes students to Badamwari, Cheshmashahi to explore talent

SRINAGAR: Expanding its co-curricular activities to outside its home district, Skylight School Pampore on Thursday drove its students to Badamwari in Old Srinagar where it held a painting competition.
The official spokesperson of the school said that the event was part of current academic session.
“It was an inter-school painting competition held at Badamwari,” he said. The students made paintings on different themes.
“The paintings depicting various facades of human life as well as nature were put on the canvas by the young and talented students who were later on suitably awarded by the school,” he said.
“Again an interesting and equally fascinating inter-school photography competition was held at picturesque surroundings of Parimahal-Cheshmashi Srinagar” the spokesperson said.
“The students participated in this competition with full zeal and enthusiasm and took the best and very attractive and thought provoking photographs which were very appreciable,” the spokesperson added.
The school administration awarded the participating students with merit-cum-participation certificates while as winners were given prizes.
