Baramulla: All the three Jaish-e-Mohammad militants, identified by police as Pakistani nationals, who were killed in the encounter at Police Lines Pulwama were buried in Baramulla district by police and civilians of the area. Reports said that police shifted the bodies of the three militants to Police Lines Baramulla on Saturday night and then the trio was taken to Gantamulla for burial at about 4 AM Sunday morning. More than 40 non-local militants have been buried in the Gantamulla graveyard. About a dozen locals and some policemen were present during the burial and they also offered the funeral prayers.
The Gantamulla graveyard is situated along the river bank on the right side of the Srinagar-Muzafarabad road, some 15 kilometers from main town Baramulla. Last month, famous Lashkar commander Abu Dujana was buried in this graveyard.
