Militants storm Pulwama police lines, 4 personnel injured

Srinagar: Srinagar: Four forces personnel have been injured in an attack by militants at a police station in south Kashmir’s Pulwama on Saturday. Sources said the militants, believed to be three, are still holed up inside the district police lines.
The militants opened fire at the government forces personnel at 4.30 am, Saturday injuring two personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and two of the Jammu and Kashmir Police at south Kashmir’s Pulwama.
More forces have been rushed to the area and firing is going on, they said.
Sources said that militants entered the district police lines area while firing bullets and throwing hand grenades which created panic in the area.
The cross firing was going on when reports last came in.
