Sloganeering in Kupwara College on Sinha visit

Kupwara: A team pg peaceniks led by senior BJP leader and former external affairs minister Yashwant Sinha arrived in Kupwara on Thursday and interacted with students of local degree college and members of civil society at the degree college auditorium.
Eyewitnesses said that Sinha had a freewheeling discussion with a section of students and civil society members, which included some government officials. However, a group of students also chanted anti-India and pro-freedom slogans when Sinha and his team was still inside the campus. Sources said that Sinha emphasized on the people that peace was imperative for development of the region and urged the participants to contribute towards building the peace constituency.
While Sinha and his team was confronted with sloganeering, the students disallowed the media persons to cover the protests, apparently for fear of revealing identifies.
