SRINAGAR: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik on Wednesday said NIA and ED “drama” is being played by New Delhi to deviate attention from “ongoing genocide” in Kashmir. He said by “intimidating” family members of Kashmiri resistance leaders, Indian rulers are stooping so low in their “Kashmir animosity”.
In a statement, Malik termed it “revengeful politics” the questioning of Dr Bilquees – wife of Shabir Ahmad Shah – by ED and summoning of Naseem Geelani and Naseem Geelani –sons of Syed Ali Geelani by NIA.
“By these acts, Indian leadership is stooping too low morally and ethically. By prolonging the incarceration of resistance leaders including Shabir Ahmad Shah, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Shahid ul Islam, Ayaz Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Raja Meraj ud din Kalwal, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Farooq Ahmad Dar and Devendar Singh Behal, Indian rulers and their Kashmiri stooges are actually playing politics in the name of corruption and terror funding and want to club whole resistance with bribery and hence discredit it,” Malik said.
He said media is being used as a “tool to defame and discredit” the resistance leadership and “blood soaked” freedom struggle of Kashmiris the same Hitler used to defame and discredit his rivals in Germany. “This new NIA and ED onslaught is bound to (get) failed,” he said.
