Pakistan firmly stands with oppressed Kashmiris: Abbasi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday said the Government of Pakistan and the entire nation firmly stand with “oppressed people of  Kashmir”.
He was talking to “Azad Kashmir” (Pakistan administered Kashmir -PaK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the “just” struggle of Kashmiri people for their right of self-determination.
Matters of political significance and development initiatives in “Azad Kashmir” were discussed during the meeting.
Talking to Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman in Islamabad, prime minister said the government is determined for socio-economic uplift of the region.
The chief minister congratulated Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on being elected as Prime Minister of Pakistan and extended invitation to him for visiting Gilgit Baltistan.
He also apprised the prime minister on the status of various ongoing development projects related to Gilgit-Baltistan.
