SRINAGAR: Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) on Saturday paid tributes to Abid Hamid Mir, Javeed Ahmad Dar and Danish Ahmad Dar who were killed in a gunfight with government forces in Amargarh area of Sopore.
In a statement, DeM secretary general Nahida Nasreen said youth of Kashmir are fighting against the “brutal occupation” of India on all fronts.
She said, “Youth have been pushed to the wall to resist occupation. India’s plan is to crush armed struggle in the valley but they must remember that with the martyrdom of every mujahid many more will rise up against this illegal occupation and those mujahideen may be more lethal to Indian armed forces than ever because they are brought up in the environment when Indian brutalities are at peak. They hate India more than anything.”
Condemning the firing by forces on civilian protestors in Saderkoot Bandipora, Nasreen said India is using “military might” to crush the sentiment and aspirations of the people of Kashmir.
She also slammed the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti. “Though the bloodshed of Kashmiris continues since 1947, Kashmir has seen worst (since) Mehbooba became a puppet of Delhi. She seems to get satisfied only after spilling the blood of innocents on daily basis.”
“Indian authorities and their puppets have tried every form of repression and sinister policies but have failed,” she said.
