SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has said the atrocities being committed upon Kashmiri prisoners have no parallel in recent history.
In a statement, JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal said, “Genocide of Kashmiris is continuing unabated, so is the slumber of the international community which is maintaining a criminal silence on (it).”
He termed the prolonged incarceration of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, party’s vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal and senior member Ghulam Muhammad Dar as “highly deplorable”.
He said thousands of Kashmiris are languishing in Indian and Kashmiri jails.
“The law of jungle is being followed,” Kalwal said.
Meanwhile, JKLF district president, Pulwama, Javed Ahmad Butt and district president, Anantnag, Muhammad Ishaaq Ganaie led party delegations to the bereaved families of those killed recently and expressed solidarity with them.
