Killed in Anantnag firing incident identified as civilian

Srinagar: The “unknown” man killed in a firing incident at Kanelwan, Bijbehara last night has been identified as a civilian from Arwani in Kulgam district, police sources said Friday.
Ghulam Mohiuddin Bhat, son of Mohammad Yousuf, a resident of Arwini was killed at Herpora Kanelwan Karvel Anantnag during an operation launched by police, 3 RR and CRPF 40/90 Bn last night.
Police sources said that Bhat was “mysteriously in the area and was caught in crossfire and killed.”
According to a police statement Bhat was riding a motorcycle Yamaha Libero (JK13-527?) (with erased last numeral) when he got killed in cross firing.
One militant of HM outfit namely Yawar Nissar Shergujri @ Algazi also got killed in the force’s action.
