Clashes in Tahab, internet services suspended

Srinagar: Clashes between protesters and forces erupted near the encounter site in Tahab Pulwama in south Kashmir soon after the killing of two militants in a gunfight, reports said
Meanwhile, authorities have snapped internet services in the south Kashmir district.
Earlier two militants were killed after a gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Tahab area.
A police official told Kashmir Reader that forces launched a cordon and search operation in Tahab after receiving specific intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
The search operation turned into an encounter as the search party of the forces was fired upon by the militants.
The retaliatory fire resulted in the killing of two militants, he said.
