Srinagar: The opposition National Conference (NC) Thursday held a massive protest demonstration against price hike, civilian killings and day today restrictions in down town areas of Srinagar.
Raising anti-government slogans hundreds of NC workers, led by senior party leader Ali Muhammad Sagar, were holding placards and banners.
They started their march from party headquarter Nawa-e-Subh. The NC leaders, office bearers and activists wanted to reach Raj Bhawan however they were intercepted by police near Ram Munshi Bagh police station.
Many including Salman Sagar, were detained by police to foil the protest march.
