OLD TOWN PREMIER LEAGUE: BSC pips Baramulla Oldies in summit clash

Baramulla: Baramulla Sports Club register a comfortable four wicket win over Baramulla Oldies in the summit clash of Old Town Premier League played at Jehlem Sports stadium Baramulla on Sunday .

Chasing a target of 147 Baramulla Sports Club achieved the required target in 16th over with four wickets in hand. BSC openers provided a solid start to their side and their good work was carried forward by middle order batsman and ensured thier teams victory.

Earlier batting first after winning the toss Baramulla Oldies put a formidable total of 147 on the board in stipulated 20 overs. Ishfaq Ahmad was the successful batsman for his side scoring 65 runs.

Bazir Ahmad was declared man of the series for his all-round performance in the tournament.

Secretary Sports Council Waheed-Ur -Rehman Para who was the chief guest gave away the prizes.

Speaking on the occasion Parra said that he will provide all the sports facilities to the sports lovers of Baramulla.

The tournament was organised by the Friends Cricket Club Baramulla and a large number of teams participated in the tournament.
