Srinagar: The seven pro-freedom leaders and activists arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in “funding case” Monday in Srinagar, will be produced before a Delhi court tomorrow, reports said.
“Based on the evidence we have collected and subsequent in examinations of persons today we have arrested seven persons, six from Srinagar and one from Delhi,” Alok Mittal, IG, NIA, told ANI.
All six arrested in Srinagar will be brought to Delhi and all seven accused will be produced in the court tomorrow in Delhi, he added.
The seven arrested include Nayeem Khan, Bitta Karate, Altaf Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Pir Saifullah , Mairaj Kalwal and Sahid Ul Islam.
Six of them were arrested from Srinagar while Bitta Karate was arrested in New Delhi, reports said.
