Srinagar: In a bizarre incident in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district CRPF soldiers Sunday thrashed their officer after one of their ailing colleague was allegedly denied hospitalization and he died, reports said.
The officer of the CRPF was thrashed by soldiers after he allegedly denied permission to shift an ailing trooper to some hospital for medical assistance.
The incident according to sources took place at Wanpoh near south Kashmir’s Anantnag town. They said that angry CRPF troopers were angry over the death of their colleague who according to them was denied timely medical help by their officer.
The CRPF according to reports was posted at railway station in Wanpoh died after complaining some ailment.
CRPF officials are tight lipped over the incident however police sources confirmed the death of a CRPF soldier at Wanpoh.
