Srinagar: A soldier was killed after Indian and Pakistan Army on Tuesday exchanged firing of small arms, automatics and mortars from in Naushera sector along the Line of Control (LoC).
Reports said that firing was still going on in the area.
Both the countries have accused each other of violating the ceasefire which is in place since 2003.
Recent cross border firing has increased tension between the two neighboring nuclear countries.
Meanwhile, police said that eleven students stuck in Primary School Kadali due to cross border shelling in Bhawani sector of Noushera sector have been evacuated by Police and Army using BP Bunkers. Police said that fifty students stuck in Middle School Sair in the same sector were being evacuated.
