Lineman dies after falling from electric pole

PAMPORE: In a tragic incident, a 40-year-old lineman of Power Development Department (PDD) died when he fell from an electric pole while repairing a transmission line at Khadrehmoh area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday, officials told Kashmir Reader.
According to the field staff reports, lineman Mohammad Amin Yatoo son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Midoora Tral posted at sub-division Pampore was performing his duties, when he fell down from the pole and came dashing on the ground.
He was immediately shifted to sub-district hospital Pampore, where from he was referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar. He succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday evening, officials said. Yatoo is survived by old aged mother, minor daughters and wife.
A PDD official said that they have initiated a probe into the incident.

    He fall from electric pole after having an electric shock…
    It is all the fault of PDD Department.

    He fall from electric pole after having an electric shock… And you people ate claming that he fall from electric pole.tThere was not a single fracture in his body but wounds of electrical shock….
    It is all the fault of PDD Department.
