Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) has denied having ties with Sandeep Kumar who police claimed was LeT commander Bashir Lashkari’s aide.
In an emailed statement to KNS, LeT spokesperson, Dr Abdullah Ghazanwi while quoting its chief Mahmood Shah, denied any ties with Sandeep alias Adil and Shakoor.
“Sandeep Kumar, who belongs to Uttar Paradesh, has no link whatsoever with Lashkar-e-Toiba. This is nothing but a conspiracy put up by Ajit Doval and his propagandist team, so as to try to sabotage Kashmir’s freedom struggle,” LeT spokesperson said in the statement.
“Indian government, its establishment and agencies have gone rogue and dismayed over the alliance between Kashmiris and Mujahideen, which was evident from the Burhan Wani’s martyrdom day, observed on 8 July, 2017.”
The LeT spokesperson added, “India is trying to sabotage the Kashmir’s freedom struggle by implementing evil plots. Until freedom, we shall continue our struggle while forging a strong alliance.”
