Rally in UK to commemorate Burhan

LONDON: A protest rally was organised by non-resident Kashmiris at Birmingham, United Kingdom to mark the first anniversary of Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Burhan Muzzafar Wani.
Addressing the gathering, eminent pro-freedom activist Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur said that Burhan Wani has become an everlasting symbol against the “Indian occupation and her tyranny”.
“From the town of Tral, Burhan Wani has risen to be global personality with profound impact of his bravery, thought and values recognised by many countries” , Thakur said.
He stressed upon the international community to pressurize India for the settlement of Kashmir issue to “stop the bloodshed in Kashmir”.
