Tral man allegedly tortured by army, referred to Srinagar

Srinagar: Army on Sunday allegedly tortured a man to an extent that doctors in Tral referred him to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
Relatives of Murtaza Bashir (30), a resident of Kuchmulla village of Tral in south Kashmir told Kashmir Reader that army personnel had called him to their camp at Nadar after taken his I-Card.
Today Murtaza went to the camp to get his I-Card where he was tortured severely they said, adding they don’t know the reason of beating him.
Murtaza was shifted to sub district hospital Tral where from he was referred to Srinagar.
“We referred him for an advanced treatment,” a doctor in the hospital told Kashmir Reader.
