Srinagar: Three Indian Army soldiers were injured in a militant attack in Bandipora district of north Kashmir on Saturday.
The militant attack took place at Hajin area on the first death anniversary of Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani.
Police chief SP Vaid confirmed the attack saying three army soldiers were stable.
He said that militants targeted the army convoy in Hajin area of the district.
Pertinently, a security alert has been sounded across the Valley as pro-freedom leaders have called for a shutdown to observe Burhan’s death anniversary.
