Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir legislature Wednesday passed the resolution on the implementation of the new tax regime, GST.
The assembly during its special session adopted the resolution after finance minister Dr. Haseeb Drabu assured and pronounced ‘safeguards’ for the fiscal and political autonomy of the state.
Pertinently, the resolution was moved by Drabu yesterday and members had a hectic discussion on it since then.
The decision in this regard has been taken leaving the entire opposition and the traders fuming who were strongly opposite to its adoption saying that it was a threat to the special status of the state.
