Srinagar: Three Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leaders, whose residences were raided by NIA earlier this month were arrested Tuesday evening sources said.
The arrested included Ayaz Akbar, Altaf Ahmad Shah and Raja Mairaj ul din Kalwal.
They said that police raided the residences of the said leaders and arrested them. Police also raided the residence of another Tehreeke-e-Hurriyat leader Pir Saifullah, however he was not present there, they added.
Pertinently, NIA teams had raided many places including residential houses in Kashmir and Delhi in connection with the alleged hawala funding.
When contacted Tehreeke-e-Hurriyat sources they confirmed the arrest of the three however they were not aware about the reasons of their arrest.
