Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Toiba on Thursday paid tributes to three militants and a civilian killed in Kakapora area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting outfit’s chief Mehmood Shah said in a statement issued to GNS: “Martyrdom is a key element in the struggle to freedom and these sacrifices will not go in vain. By Almighty Allah, we shall revenge these sacrifices.”
Mahmood strongly condemned the forces firing on civilians and said “that these are nothing but shameful acts for India”. “Do the world leaders question India for the justification of attacking innocents? More than 65 civilians were severely injured by forces in one night, the condition of more than 16 of which is serious. Two houses were severely damaged,” he said.
The Lashkar chief said, “India in the lust of power and control is in intentions of destroying the Jammu Kashmir, which once was considered a heaven on earth”. He appreciated the mothers, sisters, sons, and daughters of the soil and said “their immense support will accompany the journey to our freedom and sacrifices and we will not stop until India quit Kashmir”.
“It is 27th of Ramadan and it was the same day when Allah SWT blessed the Muslim Ummah with Pakistan which is the honor of Muslim world. We must also ask Allah SWT in our prayers so that He blessed us with freedom,” he added.
