Pampore shuts for 4th day to mourn militant killings

Pampore: A Complete shutdown is being observed for the fourth consecutive day Monday in Pampore area and other parts of south Kashmir to mourn the death of three Lashkar e Toiba militants, sources said.
Three LeT militant Junaid Matto of Khudwani Kulgam, Adil Ahmad Mir of Pampore and Waseem Ahmad of Heff Shopian were killed in a gun battle with government forces at Arwani village of Kulgam district on Friday.
All shops, business establishments and schools remained closed in Pampore area and its adjoining villages.
Reports said that many parts of Kulgam district also remained shut to mourn the militant killings.
