Govt to remodel Bemina woolen mills with World Bank assistance

SRINAGAR: Vice Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir Industries Gulzar Ahmad Dar visited Government Woolen Mills Bemina to take comprehensive review of its functioning
Legislator, Noor Mohammed Sheikh also accompanied him. Dar visited all working sections of the mill and was impressed with the working and quality of the end product produced by the mill.
According to an official statement issued here, Dar said that the government has approved a project for remodeling of Bemina Woolen Mills under World Bank assistance to the tune o Rupees 12 crore which will result in increasing production to 4 lakh meters per annum as against 50 thousand meters at present.
He impressed upon the employees of the mill to work with zeal and zest to improve the working of the mill.
With regard to the various demands put forth by employees of the mill, Dar assured that the genuine demands of the corporation employees shall be amicably settled.
