SRINAGAR: In a move to realise its digitisation and cashless banking targets, J & K State Cooperative Bank Thursday announced the launch of e-commerce service for its debit card holders.
The said service will enable the customers of the bank to carry online transactions using debit cards. Until now customers were only able to carry ATM and PoS transactions with their debit cards, an official statement issued here read.
M. Lateif, Managing Director of the bank, congratulated the IT and Business Development teams of the bank for the successful launch.
He said that the bank was putting in all efforts to provide latest services and facilities to its customers. “The bank is planning to launch e-banking, phone banking, e-wallets, AEPS and other such services within this fiscal,” he added while giving an overview of his goals.
