Army open fire on car in Bandipora, two civilians injured

Srinagar: Two civilians were injured in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district Friday after army allegedly opened fire on a vehicle they were travelling in.
Local sources said that army personnel opened fire on a car injuring two civilians near Chek Reshipora in Bandipora district.
The injured have been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad son of Farooq Ahmad Jan and Fayaz Ahmad Haji son of Ghulam Hassan Haji, residents of Qazipora.
They have been referred to Srinagar hospital.
Sources said that the incident took place at an army naka where vehicles were being stopped and checked by army personnel.
