Army opens fire in Pulwama village to disperse stone pelters

Srinagar: Army on Friday fired in air after its vehicle came under stone pelting at a Pulwama village in south Kashmir.
The incident happened at Chewa Kalan village where a vehicle of an army patrol was stoned by youth.
Witnesses said that army personnel resorted to aerial firing after one of its vehicles came under attack from stone pelting protesters.
They however said that situation returned to normal soon after army left the area.
